01 God Speaks

Is the Father speaking to you?  In the first session, Mervis van der Merwe illustrates that God longs for connection, and therefore, He speaks. Prophecy does not start with us hearing the voice of God – it is initiated with the Father speaking. The voice of God is not a subject or a tool. It is a Person, and it is very personal to Him.

02 The Role of the Holy Spirit

Do we hunger to build a relationship with the Spirit?  In this session, Nadene Badenhorst explains the role of the Holy Spirit in prophecy, aiming to stir a deeper hunger for building a relationship with the Spirit. It is by the Spirit that we can hear God’s voice and operate in spiritual gifts, including the gift of prophecy.

03 What is Prophecy & Who Can Prophesy?

Can we discern the real from the fake when it comes to hearing God’s voice?  In this session, Melanie du Toit explains what Biblical prophecy is, what it is not, and how we can be equipped to discern the difference between the counterfeit and the authentic.

07 Weighing a Prophetic Word

How do we weigh up prophetic words?  In this session, Julie de Lisle helps us weigh up the prophetic words we receive and how we can make them our own through processing, application and appropriation.

06 Prophetic Boundaries

Are there boundaries we should follow when it comes to the prophetic?  In this session, Nadene Badenhorst illustrates that, while we should be eager to prophesy, there is wisdom in steering clear of certain types of prophetic words (particularly those that have the potential to cause hurt or damage if they turn out not to be correct) or bringing them in another way.
