In this episode, it was thoroughly discussed, in reference to the 1988 Camp-meeting prophecy by Kenneth Hagin, that the army Jesus is raising consists of people who resemble Him in the inward man. The character, nature, and life found in Jesus must also be formed within believers. We also learned that Jesus is the embodiment of truth, and in order to partake fully of that truth, believers require the ministry of revelation. Through revelation, the truths of Christ are progressively unveiled and established within our inward parts until His life is formed in us. Furthermore, it was emphasized that it is impossible to accurately describe the person of Jesus without revelation. Natural understanding alone cannot fully capture who Christ is. Matthew 16:17 shows that true knowledge of Jesus is revealed by the Father and not attained merely through flesh and blood reasoning. While men may speak about Jesus from human understanding, only revelation can provide an accurate and spiritual unveiling of His person. In addition, we examined that the gospel is unveiled within the Church, and that Jesus has given apostles and prophets the responsibility of unveiling these mysteries to believers. As seen in Ephesians 3:3–5, the mysteries of Christ are revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets for the edification and growth of the Church. Ultimately, we were reminded that the goal of the gospel is transformation into the image of Christ. As revelation increases through sound teaching and fellowship with the Spirit, believers are progressively shaped inwardly to look more like Jesus.
