I am Gen X - The Episode

Gen X didn’t grow up… we figured it out. We were home alone after school, managing our own time with one rule: Be done by 5:30 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGx4wRdg9u8&t=330s] or pay the price. We played outside all day because the alternative was chores. We rode bikes across town, checked in from random houses, and somehow our moms always knew where we were. We didn’t get reminders, safe spaces, or second chances — we got consequences. And yeah… our music still hits harder than anything out today. This episode is Gen X calling it like it is: Why we were adulting in elementary school How freedom and accountability went hand in hand Why “stay out of trouble” actually meant something And how we became the most independent generation without even realizing it No supervision. No GPS. No excuses.
