Vocabulary used: well-versed (adj.): Having a lot of knowledge about something. Example: He is well-versed in the history of England. pillage (v): 1. To rob a place using violence. Example: The Vikings pillaged many towns. 2. To steal something using violence. Example: The gallery was robbed and art was pillaged. fungible (adj.): Easily replaceable with something identical. Example: We should eat five servings of fruit and vegetables everyday. It doesn't matter whether you eat fruits or vegetables or both - they are fungible. globalisation(UK)/globalization(US) (n): The increasing interconnectedness of the world. The process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale. Example: Globalisation has made it easier than ever to buy products from different countries.
