Sunday Sermon 24 May 2026 - Pentecost Sunday - Living in the Holy Spirit

On Pentecost Sunday Mark Visser picks up from Gill's message last week of how we are to Live Beyond the Cross. To live Beyond the Cross we need to Live in the Holy Spirit. We cannot do things in our own strength, but need to wait on and be filled by the Holy Spirit. The first disciples had to wait in Jerusalem after Jesus ascended to heaven until they were baptised in the Holy Spirit. On the feast of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came upon them and the church as we know it today was birthed.

Sunday Sermon 17 May 2026 - What's on the Other Side of The Cross?

Gill Visser looks at how we are invited to leave our sins and burdens at the foot of the cross, but then so often we pick them up again and find ourselves in the same place we were before. Gill invites us to to go through the cross and live on the other side of the cross, where we are free from sin and condemnation. We were then invited to walk through a wooden-framed cross.

Mark and Gill Visser ended their Sabbatical attending the Vineyard Leaders Gathering at Trent Vineyard along with Mark and Christine Stoneham. Mark and Chris give a report back from the VLG while Mark and Gill report back from their Sabbatical as well as the VLG. Jonny Rose then spoke about his time in Purley with Mark Visser giving away free bibles on the Saturday.
