The goal of job seeking is finding a job that you want. If you're a job seeker, chances are that you're not really enjoying being unemployed. It's not a fun place, but, finding balance, which includes finding some enjoyment and fun, is critical to surviving and functioning. In the episode Trevor and Paul talk to special guest Phil Kan about his tactics to stay upbeat when job hunting. Phil found himself job hunting for 15 months, so he gathered quite a few stories and bits of wisdom along the way. Paul spends part of this episode adding a few hints and tips of his own from his period of job seeking. Trevor's Soapbox makes another appearance. As somebody who feels that The Hustle Game helped him "structure up" to move from unemployed to employed, he makes some poignant observations. Along the way we talk about blue smarties (no really, we do) including Travis having a high school project dedicated to them.
