Health From The Source
Today we speak with Grace Kim, a registered dietician helping people improve their health holistically. She has worked in the health and nutrition industry for over 10 years. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Dietetics Studies and currently works as the exclusive Dietitian for TotalFusion. Having struggled with both weight and gut issues herself, she understands how difficult yet powerful a change of diet can be. Grace works with a wide range of clients and has shown great success in treating gut, hormonal and weight issues with her holistic approach. We talk about diet and how diet influences overall health including the debate about calories in calories out. We get into the role and importance of animal based foods in the diet as well as some common misconceptions around fat and cholesterol. Then we talk about gut health and cover topics like IBS and SIBO which Grace spends much of her clinical practice treating. Lastly we talk about Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) as Grace runs a metabolic health program which includes a CGM at TotalFusion.
