Descripción

Why should a continent choose to be perpetual beggars in the face of wealth, enviable resources and massive aids? Such is the fate of Africa. While the continent is rich, the wealth is not actualized because the process was cut-short when the indigenous cultures were supplanted with that of the colonials, thus caging the Africans' to remain embryonic. That is why most of the genuinely African innovations were prior the colonial invasion. In this episode I share my insight on how the our roots were destroyed by the looting of our tools. So please, Hear Me Out!📌

episode The Focus We Give artwork

The Focus We Give

We have read lots of campaigns against global and social vices; against climate change, violence on women, hunger, poverty, terrorism....while the rationale behind these campaigns are for good intentions I also think they have taken a wrong direction. When we fight against anything, we are in essence promoting it. What we resist, persist. What we focus on, enlarges. The Focus We Give gets bigger and creates a monster. A better way is to create campaigns for WHAT WE WANT, not against what we do not want; campaigns for social justice, for love of humanity, to promote equity, green environment.... All I am saying is that we can not achieve what you desire by fighting off what we don't want. Let the evil alone and focus on what we truly desire, then it will manifest while the vice withers away for lack of attention.
