Today's guest is Sarah's childhood friend Cat Sullivan. Cat is currently living in Brighton, England with her husband Ben.  Cat was previously a Senior Social Worker, an approved mental health professional, and a domestic and sexual abuse link worker. Currently, she is a personal trainer, a nutrition coach and the Co-head coach of Dynamo Hove gym that she owns and runs with Ben. On top of that she is the Project Lead for a charity that works with disabled people. Cat discusses with us what it was like working as a Social Worker in the UK, why she chose to leave the profession (spoiler alert: with no other job in site!), and how her experience as a social worker is extremely beneficial to the roles she is in now. She is a major advocate for mental health and understands that your mental health plays a big part in your nutritional and physical needs and goals. She goes into detail regarding her struggles with her mental health from her teens to now. We appreciate how open and vulnerable she is regarding her mental illness and the countless hours of therapy and work she has done to manage it. She discusses what worked for her and what didn't. She also gives great advice on what to do if a therapist or type of therapy is not working for you and how to advocate for yourself. We are so happy that she is in a good place now with a loving wife and daughter by her side. Liz has come an incredibly long way and we are honored she chose our platform to tell her story.
