Series Resource Book: THE TRIAL OF JOB Amazon: https://a.co/d/j0JVjUs In today’s episode, we move into Job chapters 18 and 19, where Bildad’s second speech no longer carries the tone of correction or persuasion. Instead, it becomes a direct condemnation, describing in vivid detail the fate of the wicked and implying that Job himself is the man under God’s curse. But Job’s response takes the conversation somewhere far deeper. Stripped of comfort, abandoned by friends and family, and brought to the end of himself, Job begins to confront the emptiness of every earthly source of security. Yet in the middle of darkness, grief, and confusion, one declaration rises above all the rest: “For I know that my Redeemer lives…” As with the rest of this series, we’ll continue referencing the companion resource THE TRIAL OF JOB.
