So If you’ve read my blogs or heard the previous High on Oomph episodes, you would know that I’m not big on serious stuff…I like it light, chilled and peppy! But it would be so wrong to project an image that nothing permeates my peace bubble! So I’ll go ahead and admit this! While I’m mostly unaffected by things that happen to me or what people say…there are times when it just does and there’s nothing I can do about it! While this  one is a very personal piece, the intention is to make it easier for someone else who is going through a similar thing! Body Thy Name Is SHAME!

Sometimes you wish having kids would come with a statutory warning! "Henceforth, your life will never be your own! It is all going to be about THEM and only THEM! Whatever you do will be in THEIR best interest, if not they will make sure you do it in THEIR best interest! All your birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions will always be at a constant risk of being sabotaged! Extraction Without Chris Hemsworth!

So recently I got an opportunity to the play lead role in the sequel of the movie "Extraction!" First part had Chris Hemsworth and Randeep Hooda, so was hoping they would star in part two too but with my luck, I ended up with a totally different duo! And you cannot imagine the pain they put me through! The movie was shot at sasta locations like my bedroom, living room and my dentist's clinic but on the other hand, it has amazing dialogues! Some really powerful  punches on feminism, gender equality, civilization and human nature! Okay, I'll cut the crap! No one chugs a tin of Thumbs saying 'Aaj kuch toofani karte hai' and then kicks the door of a dental clinic! But I did not have a choice! Long story short, got a root canal treatment done a while ago, it failed coz apparently I've curved roots! And after almost 5 years long struggle with the infection, the dentist decided to pull the plug...err...pull the tooth! Join me as I narrate how expertly I transformed a moderately bearable procedure into a completely harrowing one! And then...there was drama! Of course there's drama! There's always drama!

You know John Keats was wrong when he said, ‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever!’? The fact is, we get used to beauty sooner than we realize.  Waking up to a gorgeous woman/man every morning will be fancy for a year or two! Then mostly it would be how sweet or bitter she/he is to you! 😛 (Also, I’ve heard someone really wise say this; ‘For every gorgeous woman/man out there, there is a woman/man bored of doing him/her!’ It is originally a chauvinistic statement but I’ve customized it for the greater good! You’re welcome!) And precisely that happened on our vacation to Munnar!
