Hold for Sound
Originally aired in 1947, The Topaz Flower, written by Charlotte M. Russell and adapted for radio by Willis Cooper, was recorded and produced by The Crime Club. Wally Kent is thrown into the role of junior detective when he calls in Captain Tam Bane to investigate the murder of Harrison Sloane. The clannish Sloane Family all have a reason for disliking Harrison, but when it's discovered that the Topaz Flower was stolen as well, it flips the investigation on its head. Who wanted the Topaz Flower badly enough to kill Harrison Sloane for it? Will Tam and Wally get to the bottom of it? Listen to this classic "whodunit" to find out, who stole the Topaz Flower?
