Suddenly I was trying to survive the outside world with a church girl starter pack and no real map. Then came the career shame — not from strangers, oh no — from my own friends who looked at my dreams like I told them I wanted to be a professional cloud watcher 😭. I was different, I knew it, and for a while I hated that. But guess what? I don’t whisper my dreams anymore — I say them with my chest (and a little holy sass).
