Episode 2: An Abundance of Bread

Where will your seeds fall?

It's spring! Time to get those seeds in the ground. In this episode we are going to examine our hearts to see where the seed, that is God's Word, falls when we receive it. Does it fall on the footpath, rocky soil, among thorny weeds, or does it fall on fertile soil where it will produce beautiful fruit in abundance? It's time to get a little uncomfortable and have some honest reflection time with God.

Episode 3 - Breaking of Bread the Ultimate Sacrifice

Did you know that the physical act of breaking bread is not mentioned until the New Testament? Tune in to find out my theory on why that is! I guarantee after this episode you will not look at bread or the breaking of bread the same way ever again. I don't know about you but for me when I think of what Jesus endured for us, how he was broken, it makes me super emotional, so don't mind my choking up towards the end.

I really wanted to get this episode out to everyone to build on episode 2 while it was still fresh in their minds. ** This episode wasn't completely in the game plan but during my research for episode 2 I uncovered this incredible picture Jesus was painting for all of us through the miracles of multiplying bread. At the end of this episode I wanted to be like Oprah when she shouts "And you get a car! And you get a car!" But instead, "And Jesus is for you! And Jesus is for you!"  I hope you enjoy this bonus episode because I really enjoyed really diving into these sections of the Gospel. Episode 2: An Abundance of Bread

When you are in the middle of the storm how often do you stop and thank God for the storm? If you are like me it's not nearly often enough. Gratitude can be difficult in the moments when you don't feel like you don't have enough ____________ (fill in the blank) or you are lacking ___________ (fill in the blank), but if we can find gratitude in these moments and pause and thank God for what He has given us, our whole perspective can change and it can have a huge impact on our lives as Christians. In this episode we are going to see how five loaves of bread and two fish can help us pause, give thanks, and see how God provides in our lives, even in the midst of not enough or lack of moments.
