Puoro Ki Te Ao: Oro Mauri o Puu-te-hue nā Komako Silver Beckoning us to embark on a journey through the realms of pūrākau legend and melody, 'Oro Mauri o Puu-te-hue' by taonga puoro artist Komako Silver encourages us to join Hine Puu-te-hue on her odyssey amidst the tempestuous storms of creation, to discover resilience, healing and reconciliation. This podcast is supported by funding from Manatū Taonga | The Ministry for Culture and Heritage. -- Puoro Ki Te Ao Harnessing the ancient healing sounds of taonga puoro and the essence of nature, ‘Puoro Ki Te Ao’ (Music To The World) features original soundscapes composed and performed by renowned taonga puoro artists Horomona Horo, Komako Silver and Reti Hedley. Creating a calming atmosphere of peacefulness, meditation, intentions and sleep, these pieces were formed with tamariki children and rangatahi young people in mind.
