It is important to balance the amount of water and protein that you consume with other nutrients such as carbohydrates and fats. * * * Drinking more water will help keep you hydrated, which means your body can function better and you'll feel more energized throughout the day. It also keeps your skin looking fresh and youthful. * * * Getting enough protein will help build muscle and keep your metabolism up—which means that it can help you burn fat faster! * * * Understand what your body needs, and how you can make sure that it's getting what it needs. Whether you want to lose weight or gain muscle mass. * * * Instead of punishing yourself with more food during the holiday season or talking negatively about yourself, start to recognize, accept, and learn from your experience. * * * Consistency is not always perfect, but it is how you try, bounce back, and not give up.
