She is a practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 40 years, online educator, pain and movement specialist, content creator of Pain Be Gone Collection, host of Let’s Achieve Change Podcast, and author of the ongoing Children’s Anatomy, Physiology, Health and Wellness Series. She has passionately taught elementary, middle, and high schoolers an online curriculum immersed in anatomy/ physiology/injury prevention and health and wellness. Her goal is to empower children worldwide with knowledge on complex subjects of anatomy/ physiology/ injury and disability with a collection of 8-10 books over the next 3 years. She is a mother of three and a grandmother of three. She discusses her eventual reunification with her mother after 14 years, her pursuit of the American dream through education at    UC Berkeley, graduating in four years, and becoming the first college graduate in the 19 generations of her family tree. We also discuss her career in visual effects at Pixar. Throughout the conversation, Chu emphasizes the importance of freedom, resilience, and never giving up on one's dreams despite overwhelming adversity.
