Inner Awareness Podcast
This episode of the Inner Awareness Podcast explains why a life strategy is considered a problem in the work of enlightenment. A life strategy is based on assumptions, desires, expectations, and patterns formed through karmic attachments, childhood influences, and the field of Maya. Because it requires identification with the I, a life strategy keeps a person reacting to the past instead of remaining centered in, the ever-Present Now and their authentic mind. It may also be in opposition to their Dharma, since it’s based on what a person thinks they want rather than on what Shakti wants for them. A life strategy reinforces attachments and belief systems that distort perception and limit spontaneity, flexibility, and insight. A master does not push or pull, force an outcome, or proceed according to a fixed direction. They observe until they know, then they adapt by acting appropriately. By releasing the beliefs, attachments, and karmic baggage that support a life strategy, it becomes possible to remain centered in the ever present now, develop good character, and enhance the functions of the subtle so that more life-affirming energy can radiate freely. The episodes of the Inner Awareness Podcast were recorded during seminars, which take place on a regular basis.
