Israel eliminates another senior Hamas commander with Mohammed Ouda assassinated less than a fortnight after the killing of his predecessor. He was reportedly tracked for weeks before being killed in an overnight strike in Gaza. He played a central role in planning the October 7 attacks and was among the last senior Hamas commanders still operating in the Strip. In Lebanon, the IDF has carried out one of its heaviest waves of strikes in months after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to intensify military pressure on Hezbollah.
