So there's this Youtuber named 'Academy of Ideas,' who released a video essay titled "How the "Greater Good" is Used as a Tool of Social Control" in which they demonize collectivism & praise hyper-individualism, making several baseless claims about moments in history or human nature, and none of their arguments are backed up with any sort of evidence Naturally, I had to break this nonsense down *It'll just be the audio dropping tomorrow, and the video essay will be available on Youtube & Facebook in a few days, so be sure to check those out as well, where I include imagery & citations that couldn't for everyone to follow along with.
