She wants to raise awareness of  her  rare condition called Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome  - a  condition that she  got diagnosed when she was 3 years old. Annie spoke to Luke and I and  told us about living with RTS and how it impacts her life.

Epsom Derby - The Christmas Day Time Capsule

SURREY HILLS COMMUNITY RADIO MONDAY 8TH JUNE   When Christmas Day won the Epsom Derby it also completed a series of coincidences stemming from a 1964 letter and coins discovered in a time capsule at Crystal Palace by a builder. The coins were winnings from a horse called Santa Claus who won the Derby that year. It urged the finder to put money on a horse with a Christmas related name in a future Derby. - Christmas Day in 2026 was the first festively named horse since 1964 and the  Romanian builder who uncovered the time capsule has a name that means Christmas. I spoke to the Mayor of Bromley Christine Harris who told me more about this curious story.
