13. February Already? Thoughts on Time, Travel, and Weddings
February is already here, and I find myself thinking about how strangely time moves. January feels both close and far away at the same time. In this episode, I talk about choosing our next travel destination, heading back to Fukuoka for a friend’s wedding, and my thoughts on weddings, priorities, and what really matters. Just a quiet, honest reflection on everyday life and how we experience time.
12. Choosing Our Next Destination
In this episode, I talk about a recent conversation my husband and I had about traveling this year. We revisit places we loved, like Dubai, talk about why Saudi Arabia caught our curiosity, and share a childhood dream of visiting Australia. I also share how we ended up considering Riyadh, the timing behind the trip, and my thoughts on traveling respectfully and learning about new cultures. A quiet, personal reflection on travel, curiosity, and choosing where to go next.
11. Finding Big Happiness in Small Moments
10. A Slower New Year in the U.S.
In this episode, I share how I spent the year-end and New Year holidays from the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026. It was my second time visiting the U.S. to see my husband’s family, and the experience felt completely different from my first visit two years ago. Back then, everything felt new and overwhelming, and the trip was more about traveling than family time. This time, though, I found myself slowing down — staying home, spending quiet time with family, and feeling more relaxed and connected than before. It reminded me that sometimes, doing less and simply being with family can be the most meaningful way to spend the holidays.
9. Career Thoughts, Big Changes, and the End of 2025
In this episode, I continue my 2025 recap by talking about the new job I started this year. I reflect on why I decided to leave my previous company, what I learned from job hunting, and how I ended up at a much smaller but fast-growing company. A calm, honest end-of-the-year conversation about work, stress, and choosing what feels right.
