Sometimes the things which we love doing as a hobby can find their way into becoming the main hustle. Tumi knows about this all to well with he’s brand Blvck Trilogy Clothing starting from just tie-dyed tees he’s friends would give 2 him, to now creating entire story driven pieces. He’s pieces have been worn by The Voice, Killer Kau & Thato TOT, amongst hundreds of others around the country. He’s designs are inspired by the Asian films he’d watch as a child & with the student consumer in mind. Tumi is a man of many talents & he uses BTC as a vessel of expression, while also keeping ur kicks clean via Super Skoon.

Art has the power 2 not only change lives but save lives. This is something which I & Palesa know all 2 personally with the both of us being pulled out of the depths of depression. In April I sat down le Palesa 2 learn more about her & her love not only 4 music but acting. She also @ the time was working on her own podcast which has been going strong 4 over a month now. She literally manifested something & achieved it.

A single encounter wif someone or some people can change the direction of 1s life 4ever. This encounter can be by chance like Thato’s, when as a kid he got the chance to appear in a music video of a top tier Mzansi group @ their hight prior 2 the 2010 World Cup. Since then he’s appeared in various videos, even being known by Mr. Phumakim. This inspired him 2 pursuit a career in the film & fashion industry.

Crushlandia - Tebello Segooa

For the longest time i believed that when u’re going through it, u godda go through it alone. Not telling those around what u’re going through coz u think they don’t care & that after telling them things won’t magically change. I still 2 some extent believe this but 1 thing that I’ve learnt through Tebello is that sharing what ur going through decreases the load on ur shoulder. Yes the problem will still be there but sharing opens u up to alternative solutions to ur problem, some that u may have not thought of . It also strengthens the relation between u & the person u’ve shared ur troubles with coz 1day they’ll share their problems with u. So find someone & share.

Forming relationships is an important part in the human experience as it allows u 2 lean on others when ur down & 2 share in the joy of every W. Sizwe is 1 of those oakies that I’ve known since primary school & it’s been great watching him grow over the past 10+ years. We recorded this episode in he’s car back in April with him telling us about a documentary that he was shooting & i’m glad 2 announce that he’ll be will be releasing it on the 19.08.2021. He has made a dream/manifestation come true & he did it independently. This inspires me as well to manifest my own dreams into reality. Super proud of you Sizwe & continue 2 shine maboi.
