Author of three books of poetry and essays about agriculture life in Northern Colorado, George Wallace came down from the ranch to share his poetry and stories with co-host Thomas Ivory Jr in the KRFC studios Fort Collins. George's unique use of cowboy language in poetry and song kept the conversation lively like being out on the open range. His poetry aims to bridge the gap between rural and urban folk by celebrating the outdoor work of raising food and fiber for all people. Most of George's poems are memorized and that gives him that fun cowboy style of delivering each poem as if for the first time, just for you!
