College Life | Episode 3

College, it's not as bad as people make it out to be; it's just tedious. There is a lot of free time, but spend it wisely; people always say TIME MANAGEMENT, but it truly is critical like get all the work done, so you don't spend hours that you could be sleeping or working doing assignments you got days ago. But do as I say and not as I do because I sometimes catch myself watching my shows or doing something when I could have completed an assignment that burnt up my whole day, then racing to finish it, plus more. Don't get me started on these professors; they aren't specific about anything. They assume you are mind readers. When you write something on the board, do you expect me to know what it is? My physics professor, omg I never wanted to strangle someone so much. She honestly doesn't make sense. The worst thing about it is that it's one class a week on a Monday. It starts at 11, but it's the worst day of the week. I knew I didn't want to be in that class. I told my advisor from the summer that I didn't want to be there because the word "PHYSICS" was enough for me. That's another thing, these advisors are helpful, but you have to be very clear with what you're saying, but that's another episode for another time.

But it takes a lot to ask for help for something you don't know to do. I know this because I'm so in my head that I rather struggle than ask for help because, honestly, that was how they taught us in school, don't let the teacher babysit you the whole way. Try and then ask for help because you won't learn. But don't do that when working on the college process, and don't say Ima do it later. The quicker you get it doesn't, the faster the process will be done. Don't be like me, waiting on my parents to help me decide because some parents, even like mine, will lollygag in the beginning, and when it comes down to crunch time, they will tell you, " Why didn't you say this before." Or "Why didn't you ask the counselor for help." I responded that I needed you, and you weren't there to help me, so...
