Descripción

This week, the bffs talk about going out on a night in their 20's vs their 30's. Plus, they go over some of their best/funniest/weirdest dating experiences. They also play a really fun game called "Hear Me Out" and "Hot or Just Famous"! Let us know if you agree in the comments, and give us some of your hear me outs! **Disclaimer** We had some major technical difficulties with the audio on this one, but we had SO much fun making this episode and really wanted to share it with you! Hopefully you can stick with us and enjoy it as much as we did!

6. Reading, Dyslexia, Technology, Oh My!

We have our first guest this week! Samantha is in her 14th year of teaching and is certified in New York State in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, Students with Disabilities, and Literacy. She also holds certifications as a School Building Leader and a School District Leader. In addition, Samantha has earned a microcredential in The Science of Reading Fundamentals from SUNY New Paltz. She specializes in reading disabilities as a certified Dyslexia Practitioner in the Wilson Reading Programs and is currently completing her Associate-level practicum in Orton-Gillingham. Over the course of her career, Samantha has taught students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Alongside her classroom work, Samantha tutors students in grades K–6 in both reading and math using multisensory strategies that make learning engaging and accessible. A lifelong learner, she is committed to staying current with research and best practices to provide the strongest support for her students. She also runs a tutoring and consulting business, where she partners with families to support students' academic journeys and helps parents navigate the special education evaluation and IEP process. We learned a ton in this episode and we are so grateful Samantha was able to come hang with us. The title of this episode pretty much explains what we talk about, but in case you need more! - we talked about childhood dyslexia, adhd, anxiety, and what you can do to help your kiddos. Make sure to check out Samantha's tutoring company and Instagram :) https://sites.google.com/view/effectivetutoringandstrategies/home?fbclid=PAdGRleAMZ7cxleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABp5BzUM-1nycU7yye85l4yMDBOdiinI-pf4nC-nUOUGdFL_eS3-X0qg2NxuyD_aem_h8pfYjgiCSK3fTnrYRYuCA [https://sites.google.com/view/effectivetutoringandstrategies/home?fbclid=PAdGRleAMZ7cxleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABp5BzUM-1nycU7yye85l4yMDBOdiinI-pf4nC-nUOUGdFL_eS3-X0qg2NxuyD_aem_h8pfYjgiCSK3fTnrYRYuCA] https://www.instagram.com/effectivetutoringfamstrategies?igsh=MTVtMXBpOHNuemQzcA== [https://www.instagram.com/effectivetutoringfamstrategies?igsh=MTVtMXBpOHNuemQzcA==]
