Living in Flow
The Living in Flow Summer Women's Series continues and it is getting deep! In an interview with Jen Bullen we discuss the stories we hold in our bodies as women. For most women the relationship with our bodies became complicated at a young age. We share our own stories of sexualization and shame beginning around puberty and the control of our bodies through disordered eating and excessive exercise. We discuss how slowing down and creating space is THE WORK necessary to really become embodied and what diet culture really costs us (it's not just money). Jen Bullen is a somatic healing coach and yoga teacher based in West Michigan who supports humans in healing their relationship with their bodies, food, and movement. Her work is rooted in nervous system awareness, body neutrality, and collective care, offering an alternative to harmful wellness and diet culture narratives. Through her offerings—including community spaces, a membership, and immersive events—Jen creates environments where people can reconnect with their bodies in ways that feel safe, collaborative, and liberatory. This episode is for all women who have ever had a complicated relationship with their body.
