Madeleine Rhodes "Welcome to Paris"
Jonathan and Eddie Velasquez
The Valasquez Brothers could have easily been 2 characters out of my jr. High and High school years. 2 skate rats that play punk rock and have made a natural progression towards the arts. They are genuinely 2 of the nicest, most charming, happy-go-lucky « homies » I have ever met…but don’t let their nonchalance be mistaken for suckerhood. If you get in a pinch you definitely want these 2 cats on your team, if you ever have the misfortune to find yourself on the opposing team, don’t forget to duck motherfucker.
Nan Feix "Ride alone, together"
Nan is a documentary filmmaker with the soul of a skater and the vision of sociologist. A rare combination that sheds light on a part of humanity we all could use a good dose of. He is definitely one of the benevolent ones in my book, come check out why on this week’s episode of the Lutetia Lounge.
Thibault Vincent Ducimetiere
Thibault is a bold and adventurous young painter from France who delves into the underbelly of pop-culture and the subconscious mordern « McWorld » we find ourselves living in today. His pinceau and airbrush depict and reveal what’s really behind the curtain, often times with a pinch of humor and derision to help us digest what we don’t see or don't want to see. Take a look.
#5 LOFT BLUE
Loft Blue is an autodidact that hasn’t stopped to smell the roses on his life quest to continually push himself and the boundaries of his surroundings. He’s climbed outside of the box life so often tries to keep us in. He is one cool ass cat…you could disagree, but you’d be wrong.
