Descripción

In this episode, I am joined by Tracey Foster to share her deeply personal healing journey. Tracy is a licensed practical nurse, Integrative Health Practitioner and is trained in breathwork facilitation and somatic inquiry. Based in Vancouver, Canada, she now helps support others navigating stress, trauma, nervous system dysregulation, and chronic illness. Tracey shares how she believed she was healthy and doing everything right, only to later experience major health struggles that completely shifted her life. Just as she felt she was finally beginning to rebuild and move forward, a traumatic car accident sent her spiraling once again. Together, we discuss trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, pain, nervous system dysregulation, and the powerful connection between oral health and overall wellness. Tracey also shares how breathwork and somatic inquiry became some of the most impactful tools in her healing journey and helped her reconnect with her body in a completely different way. We also talk about the Ionic foot bath and why Tracey personally experienced significant benefits from incorporating it into her wellness routine. This conversation is filled with hope, insight, and powerful reminders that healing is often much deeper than simply addressing physical symptoms alone. EP 111: From Hopeless to Healed - Lana's Lyme Disease and SOT Journey

After 13 years of battling Lyme disease, multiple relapses, Bartonella, pancreatitis and overwhelming despair, Lana finally found the missing pieces that helped her regain her health. After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2010, Lana experienced years of ongoing symptoms, periods of remission, financial hardship, and moments when she questioned whether she could continue fighting. She openly shares the emotional toll of chronic illness, the isolation, and the despair that so many in the Lyme community know all too well. Throughout her journey, Lana explored numerous therapies including antibiotics, methylene blue, IV glutathione, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, PEMF, infrared sauna therapy, ionic foot baths, red light therapy, and more. While each played a role in her healing journey, she shares how Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy (SOT) ultimately became the final piece that helped her regain her health. A major turning point came when Lana sought care through New Hope Healing & Resource Center in Minnesota. She shares how Tim Montag and Aimee Goodwin provided not only treatment options and clinical guidance, but also hope, compassion, and unwavering support during some of her most difficult days. Their willingness to continue searching for answers helped uncover important pieces of her case and gave her the courage to keep moving forward. Today, Lana is living proof that healing is possible, even when the road feels impossible. This conversation is a powerful reminder of the importance of finding the right practitioners, never giving up on yourself, and holding onto hope when everything feels lost. EP 110: Lyme Disease, MS or Cancer? One Tick Bite Changed Everything.

After a tick bite in 2020, Dr. Kristi Hellenbrand's life changed dramatically. A Doctor of Chiropractic, author and patient advocate, Kristi went from running a busy chiropractic practice and caring for life on her farm to a rapid decline in her health. Within months, she lost the sensation in her legs, needed a cane and eventually lost the ability to walk. Doctors considered multiple sclerosis (MS) or cancer. When Lyme disease was finally suspected, Kristi began treatment and experienced some improvement. However, her symptoms returned after stopping IV antibiotics, leaving her searching for a more effective path forward. In this episode, Dr. Kristi shares her Lyme disease journey, from the frightening onset of symptoms to receiving confirmation through Vibrant testing and ultimately pursuing the Horowitz Protocol. She explains why she viewed this approach as "the big guns" and how it became a turning point in her recovery. Today, Kristi is back to helping others through her chiropractic practice, patient advocacy work, and educational outreach. She is passionate about helping people find answers, navigate testing options, and understand that they are not alone in their health journey. This conversation is a powerful reminder that early symptoms should never be ignored, answers are worth pursuing, and hope remains possible even when the future feels uncertain. EP 108: Dr Rawls on Autophagy, Lyme and the Vital Plan Restore 180 Program

Dr. Bill Rawls returns to Lyme and Beyond with Tanya for an in-depth conversation about healing Lyme disease, chronic illness, autophagy, and the Vital Plan Restore 180 Program. In this episode, we take a deep dive into the Vital Plan Restore 180 Program and the Vital Plan Network. So many individuals navigating Lyme disease are left trying to figure it all out and piece everything together on their own and that is where Restore 180 comes in. Dr. Rawls explains exactly what the program involves, who it may benefit, and why he believes creating the right foundation within the body is essential for healing. We also discuss the virtual support system included within the program, including coaching, accountability, education, and community support. One of the other amazing aspects of Restore 180 is that it provides an affordable and accessible option for people who may not be able to travel for care, have not yet found a practitioner or are navigating their healing journey independently. We also discuss autophagy, what it is and the important role it may play in healing. Along with cellular repair, lifestyle changes, nutrition, sleep, stress, detoxification, and restoring balance within the body. Dr. Rawls shares why so many people remain stuck in survival mode and how supporting the body’s natural healing processes may help shift that pattern. Whether you are newly diagnosed, feeling stuck in your healing journey, or simply searching for new perspectives and hope, this episode is packed with valuable information, practical insight, and encouragement. EP 107: Inside Lymestop: Trauma. Diagnosis. Healing with Allison Sky

In this episode, I am joined by Allison Sky. She shares a deeply emotional journey that begins in childhood. Years of unexplained symptoms. Struggles no child should ever face. And a life that never quite made sense medically. Everything escalated after a traumatic accident. Her symptoms intensified. And for the first time, the pieces began to connect, leading to a Lyme disease diagnosis. Allison opens up about the impact of misdiagnosis. The emotional toll it takes and how it affected her identity and her lifelong dream of becoming a singer-songwriter. She also shares her connection to Lymestop. A major turning point in her healing journey. She has now worked for Lymestop for the past 7 years. From both perspectives, she explains why this approach became such an important part of her recovery and why it continues to mean so much to her today. In this conversation, Allison gives an inside look at Lymestop. How treatment is structured. What a typical appointment looks like. The general process patients go through and insight into cost and care from her lived experience within the clinic. Today, Allison is stepping fully back into her passion. Her brand new EP, Behind the Smile, has officially launched. Her music is rooted in real-life heartbreak, hope and healing. A powerful reflection of resilience, and rediscovering her voice after everything she has walked through. This is a story of trauma. Diagnosis. And what it takes to rebuild a life after years of being unheard.
