It Stinks

We have the ability to enjoy pleasing smells, and we have the ability to be repulsed by disgusting smells. Generally, that which is wholesome and healthy smells good, and that which is unhealthy and harmful smells bad. Metaphorically speaking, our Lord Jesus has the most beautiful fragrance of all. Jesus means life and salvation and forgiveness and hope, so His fragrance is sweet and savory — for those who are being saved. But this is not everyone. For those who do not believe, Jesus means death and doom and condemnation. And so, for them, the fragrance of Jesus seems foul and putrid. Sometimes their recipe is written down or they may create their dishes from their memory, however, it still requires a recipe. In addition, just as the individual eating is anticipating the outcome of the delicious food to fill a hunger, there is a world looking for a joy to fill an emptiness from within. Here is the recipe for the Joy we get from Jesus. If you have a prayer need, send us an email at mananamanna2021@gmail.com so we can pray with you as we all advance in our walk with God.
