Descripción

This week Jared and Bri debate who is the most country - Jared who grew up in the forest or Bri who grew up on a farm? They call their friend Beriah (who grew up way more rural than either of them) to settle it. They compete in a fire making competition, Survivor style. Who will come out on top? The episode concludes with Jared Mees and the Grown Children's song, “In the Fall”, about climbing mountains drunk and putting out forest fires with the water from your pond- and just generally having a rip roaring time with your kinfolk. Please rate and review, read us, roast us. Tell us who you think really won this competition. Beriah isn't on social media, he is too busy reading by the fire, but you can follow Jared @triplerainbovv [https://www.instagram.com/triplerainbovv/]and @jaredmees [https://www.instagram.com/jaredmees/] and Bri @briweis [https://www.instagram.com/briweis/] Email us or send a voice note to midlifecheckin@gmail.com

Bri Too Moody with Summer Izay, Chris Holder, and Kim Livesay

Bri and Jared are on the case of a 20 year old mystery - the haunting case of BRI TOO MOODY. Who wrote it? and why? They interview several key witnesses and suspects as they try to get to the bottom of the hurtful, mean, rude, low life, terrible, no good, very bad message written during a routine game at the brown house. They play a song by Bri's band, The Evangelipsticks, about being moody.  Please rate and review us on Apple Podcasts or Spotify and let us know who YOU think wrote it! Email us or send a voice note with your take, feedback, questions, or comments to midlifecheckin@gmail.com. Like many of our esteemed guests, Kim and Holder aren't on social media.
