Cap the shaker and shake briskly. * Pour the strained cocktail into a martini glass. * Garnish with green apple slices that have been brushed with lemon juice. The Picks… In Bruges [2008] (Nick) Near Dark [1987] (Anthony) Nightmare Alley [2021] (Rachel) Our mixologist Tracey dusted off the coupe glasses and served up a criminally underrated cocktail… The Sidecar Ingredients: * 1 1/2 ounces cognac * 3/4 ounce orange liqueur * 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed * Garnish: lemon sugar on the rim and an orange twist Steps: * Coat the rim of a coupe glass with lemon sugar (lemon zest mixed with sugar). * Add cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. * Strain into the rimmed coupe glass. * Garnish with an orange twist.
