This week on Most Haunted with Dan Terry: Heather and Shawn Ritchie moved into the same town I left for the mountains, and started an incredible team called Research in Paranormality, or RIP. We have some great stories of places we’ve both been, and one of my old team, Ray McDowell, is helping them. Great stories to hear!!

Misty Conner, along with her sister, inherited from her father the ability to use magic. Today, she and her sister are psychic mediums, and considered Appalachian Witches. The also are healers and cleansers, as well as authors of the book Appalachian Conjuring. We’ll be discussing the use of the Craft, demonic, and mountain “granny witches”.

Our guest this week has certainly made her name shine in the Paranormal field. Sherri Brake is the owner/operator of Haunted Heartland Tours, runs Hauntedhistory.net, and has authored such books as The Haunted History of the Ohio State Reformatory, The Haunted History of the West Virginia Penitentiary, Haunted Stark County: A Ghoulish History, and one we’ll be discussing, Dowsing for Ghosts and Graves. Her tours are available in the United States as well as Ireland and Scotland, and has taken tours right to the back gate of Area 51!
