At age 38 Amberly nearly lost her life. She lost her career and had 2.9 million dollars of medical expenses.  She went from being a professional dancer and being in the fitness industry sponsored by Nike, to being told she would be wheel chair bound and never able to work again.  At age 39 after waking up from a coma, Amberly was diagnosed with CRPS and recovered from her 34th surgery.  Physical pain led to emotional pain which ultimately culminated in addiction, but by the grace of god she got sober in 2016. As Chief Wellness Officer of her own successful brand of clinics (Weighless MD) Cheri's expertise extends beyond fitness into the functions and complexity of our unique human bodies. Highlights include learning about how our body metabolizes alcohol and the effect on our liver, why taking time between meals is important, and learning about the blood brain barrier.
