Standing in the Gap

"Standing in the gap" means to intervene on behalf of others, often through prayer or at times action, to protect them from harm or to bridge a divide.  The phrase "stand in the gap" originates from the Bible, specifically the Book of Ezekiel [https://www.google.com/search?authuser=1&hl=en-US&sca_esv=91bd149827a5c7e1&cs=0&q=Ezekiel&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjls83iqu-QAxV2k2oFHZGEC88QxccNegQIFRAB]. It refers to a person who acts as an intercessor or mediator to protect others from harm or destruction, either by repairing a literal wall or by making a spiritual defense through prayer. Christians are called to "stand in the gap" for others in their communities and the world by praying, acting, and interceding on their behalf.

Succeeding Against All Odds

This episode is something we have all dealt with or are dealing with right now or will deal with in the future. We will be talking about situations that come up in our lives that seem impossible to overcome. So, I have entitled this episode, Succeeding Against All Odds  "Against all odds" means succeeding despite very low probabilities and significant difficulties that made the outcome seem impossible or very unlikely.

Staying Focused

* Staying focused on Jesus is a vital aspect of the Christian life, however, it can be challenging in a world full of distractions. Overcoming distractions and challenges by recognizing and addressing by consciously choosing to refocus on Jesus. Develop a quite time each day to pray and read the Bible and allow His word to speak to you. Ask the Holy Spirit To guide your thoughts, your words and your steps as you go through each day.

Life's Journey

* Getting to know God by understanding the names He uses to reveal his character. * Realizing that although one God, He is a multifaceted God who has many attributes. * He is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. * He is Almighty God-El Shaddia, the All Sufficient One.

Who Do We Trust

In our society today, we are in search of truth. We listen to influencers on the internet, news on many media outlets, politicians making promises and it becomes difficult to find trust through any of these. But there is one place where we can find truth and that is in God's Word. We will find that He is not a distant God because His Spirit indwells all believers and He loves His children.
