Young Benjamin leads a double life: to everyone on the block, he's just an ordinary kid, but he's actually the secret agent Mission Impossible, complete with a hidden headquarters beneath his bedroom floor. With his parents trying to track him down and his equipment failing, Benjamin finds himself on foot, trekking across New Jersey toward the ominous Land of Nightmares. Armed with only a gas station map and advice from a stranger, he crosses into the Thriller Forest, where the grass turns from green to ashen grey and Nightmare Lake—black as obsidian—awaits in the valley below. A family adventure story that blends spy-fi gadgetry, playful humor, and genuine peril, as a young secret agent races toward his most dangerous mission yet.
