OsteoBoston Podcast
In this program, Dr. Wein, MD, PHD of Massachusetts General Hospital and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be discussing new treatments under investigation used to treat osteoporosis. These advancing potential new osteoporosis therapies will be accelerated due to the FDA’s approval of Bone Mineral Density as the primary endpoint for new medications based on the SABRE recommendations. Previously, approval was based on fracture prevention, which prolonged drug development and hindered innovative research into new medications. This is an exciting change for osteoporosis research.
