Dr Bridget was a huge reason for starting this podcast. They say it takes a village, but that means you have to be a villager which is exactly what Dr B has taught me to be. She cares so much about supporting moms through every season. She is very open about wanting a large family with a lot of kids, despite the challenges in the trenches of motherhood. She cares deeply about creating a family legacy, and it make the time investment of having a bunch of crazy toddlers worth it for the impact they can make in the future. In thid episode she gives us a peek into what drives her in the hardest moments in her chaotic house. The birth of my first daughter was a whirlwind that ended up in an emergency C-section… the birth of my second daughter healed every wound and every moment that I wasn’t able to be present in before. Sharing these intimate moments is really vulnerable… but my hope is that it shows people that labor and birth, when left undisturbed, can unfold beautifully.Call me crazy but I LOVED every minute and can’t wait to do it again. I am so glad I got to sit down with my doula and talk through it all! Birth Worker Olivia - BREECH Babies - How I navigated turning my Second Breech Baby, ECV with Nurse Midwife

This episode is a vulnerable one for me to share... After my first pregnancy with a surprise Breech Baby that quickly turned into an emergency C-section, I prayed that my second pregnancy would go differently as I planned for a VBAC. At 32 weeks pregnant, I found out this baby was also breech. In this episode I sit down with my doula and relfect on what I did physicall, mentally, and spiritually to navigate the last few weeks of pregnancy. We cover what pregnant mamas should be doing proactively throughout pregnancy, as well as what to do if you're baby is still breech later in pregnancy. Spoiler Alert: Baby girl finaly flipped at 36 weeks and I had the homebirth of my dreams!!!!

I'm so thrilled that I was able to sit down with Homebirth Midwife, Virginia! She has been present with my team of Midwives throughout both of my pregnancies, and is such a joy to talk to. We talk about where her passion for birth came from, and how we both share the passion for making birth normal. I loved learning Virginia's approach to Midwifery since she has been practiing for a year now! Her fresh perspective is so exciting, and I cant wait to see how she continues to serve our community.
