In order to right the ship, they bring in recurring guest, Farquad, during a a new segment called : Don't be a f*****g rat. In this segment, they look for the squarest play of next week's games and go against their gut instinct to hopefully avoid the trap that Vegas sets against rookie gamblers. Boob's Seahawks overcome a slow start to their game against the Broncos and move to 1-0 to start the season. Bruce's Chiefs win a thriller against the Ravens by a toenail, and the Bengals fall to the Patriots at home. To end the show, the boys talk a little college football by going over the Texas/Michigan, Nebraska/Colorado and Notre Dame falling to Northern Illinois after paying 1.5 million dollars to play them. Finally, Bruce and Boob discuss gambling etiquette (or lack there of) and what is going to far when you're on opposing sides. The podcast will be moving to TWO days a week with episodes scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays. Wednesdays episodes will primarily be a recap of the games from the weekend as well as looking forward to Thursday night football predictions now that NFL is back this week. Boob and Bruce discuss what they learned following this weekends slate of games and what trends they think will continue throughout the college football season. They also discuss their betting results from the weekend and give you their picks for next weekends games as the gambling competition is heating up. Finally, they preview the NFL season opener between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens by giving their early thoughts on the game as well as their favorite lines going into the start of the 2024 NFL season.
