The only saving grace is that we have a fantastic guest on for the episode. You know him from the Twisted Cape Podcast, the one and only Mike Clyburn!! What’s goin on Philly!!!! On this weeks episode of the Philly Grit podcast we take a look back and break down the Sixers first round SWEEP of the Brooklyn Nets. We also have the NFL Draft just one day away and the Eagles have a top 10 pick so you know we had to speculate what they might do. In addition to that we take a look at the current state of the Phillies. There won’t be too much meat on the bone when it comes to the Flyers until around late June most likely but we did make sure to go over a few things. What up Philly!!! Sorry it’s been so long but we definitely have a great episode for y’all today. We get a chance to talk a little bit about the WBC and how our Phillies did. Unfortunately WBC aside we had to discuss the Rhys Hoskins injury and what that will mean moving forward. After that we get into some Flyers hockey. News flash….they are winning now at the wrong time. After putting that in the rear view mirror it’s time for some Eagles/Sixers talk. Lots of arrivals and departures for the birds to take a look at, and just before the end of the show we talk about the Sixers and MVP front runner Joel Embiid.
