My Review of Children's Book - It's Perfectly Normal

I decided to do a review on this book "It's Perfectly Normal" because of what I've seen going on in today's education system. I came across this book after seeing reverend John Amanchukwu speak up against it at the Asheville City School Board of Education. The book takes a playful tone on sexuality, making it seem like it's appropriate for children to read when in reality it's not. It's oversexualization of children. Enough is enough. Talking about sexuality at a young age, encouraging kids and teens to self-destruct via gender transitioning surgeries is not and will NEVER be okay. The consequences of this movement is immense. It confuses children and destroys the family unit - one of the most important pillars of society. I ask you to please listen to this podcast, inform yourself, and make your own judgment. Know what is in your children's libraries, know what is being taught in schools, and have the courage to speak up against it. It's the only thing that will save our children and the direction our society is headed in.

Envy - What It Is, Why We Feel It, and What It Teaches Us

I decided to do an episode on envy because I have had experiences with envy, and I hate the way it feels. I’ve felt envy when I see someone with a “better body” than mine, when someone close to me makes more money than I do, and when someone’s podcast or blog seems to be more developed than mine. This list can go on and on, but the point I want to make is that I wanted to do the research on envy and like always, take a deep dive within myself and understand why I feel envy. I’ve learned that if someone seems to be doing slightly better than me in the areas that I value, I start to feel envy. But envy comes from a place of insecurity. It comes from a place of comparison. It comes from a place that thinks there’s only room for me in the world, when in reality there’s room for everyone. So, we’re figuring this out together, and I hope after you listen to this episode you have a better understanding of your envy, where it comes from, and how you can redirect it for a greater good.
