We all have expectations for life on what success is, what it takes to accomplish it, and how it is supposed to happen. We can get really good at fooling ourselves into thinking we have more control in that plan than we actually do. When hardships hit or our expectations aren't met, we are often left in disappointment, questioning our purpose, identity, or asking God why He didn't carry His weight in the grand plan we created. In this vulnerable episode, collegiate volleyball player Sarah Scott, shares the story of her expectations crashing down when she tore her ACL at the beginning of her sophomore season. This wild journey that led to four knee surgeries, countless disappointments, misled promises, anxiety, and frustration at God, transforms into a deep healing that goes beyond the physical.
