Valeria Racu of El Sindicato de Inquilinas de Madrid joins us to discuss the history of the housing struggle in Spain and the revolutionary potential of organising tenants.  The Madrid Tenant’s Union was the first of its kind when it was established in 2017. MASI: A decade of fighting Ireland's asylum policy

Lucky Khambule joins us to discuss his work with the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland (MASI). Ireland's asylum system of 'direct provision' has drawn criticism for its use of for-profit reception centres to house those awaiting a determination on their asylum claim, which has sometimes taken upwards of 10 years. Lucky, along with a number of other activists, took over the reception centre they were living in in 2014. They demanded improved living conditions and won. This then developed into a nationwide campaign known as the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland.
