PRAY THE WORD
Psalm 18 begins with a confession of love: “I love you, O Lord, my strength.” David names God as his rock, fortress, and deliverer—not as abstract titles, but as realities he clung to when the cords of death wrapped around him. In this episode, we reflect on what it means to cry out in distress and know that God hears. And we see how this psalm points us to Jesus, who prayed in anguish, was heard by the Father, and rose so that every desperate cry of ours would reach His ears.
