The fourth chapter of the Old Testament book of Micah, gives four beautiful characteristics of the soon-coming Kingdom of God. The nations will be taught by God, they will be judged by God, and they will enjoy peace and prosperity. "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore" (Micah 4:3).

Pray As If Your Life Depended On It!

"Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again, he prayed, and the heavens gave rain and the earth produced it's crops" (James 5:17)

"Let us watch out for one another, to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Two Steps to Make the devil Flee

The Bible gives a clear two-step process to follow if we want the devil to flee. James 4:6 describes it in six words, "Submit to God. Resist the devil". As a result of this simple (yet profound) process, James says, "The devil will flee".
