PS - Anita Reilly: conversation as practice

Anita Reilly speaks about her work which includes disability advocacy and community programming and liaison. This work, centring around communication often intersects with artistic practices and approaches, including Augusto Boa [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augusto_Boal]'s Theatre of the Oppressed. In her own words: "I'm community activist and broadcaster based in the Liberties, Dublin. Born and raised in this vibrant neighbourhood, I'm a 55-year-old mother of four with roots deeply planted in community. Family is my world, and the neighbourhood is my comfort blanket. With a knack for juggling many things at once, I take life one step at a time with a smile.I've dabbled in broadcasting, and my work includes disability advocacy, community programming, and liaison, often intersecting with artistic practices like Augusto Boa's Theatre of the Oppressed. I'm always finding new ways to contribute and connect in the Liberties" Interview in The Liberty newspaper  [https://www.theliberty.ie/2023/10/10/if-gray-street-could-talk-gogglebox-irelands-anita-reilly-on-life-in-the-liberties-and-being-on-hit-virgin-media-show/]about life in The Liberties and being on the hit Virgin Media show Gogglebox.

PS - Lian Bell: Interactions with people in space

Lian discusses working across different art forms, media and spaces, and how there is: "no dividing line between artist and arts worker in my practice". With a background in scenography, visual art, cultural project management, and social activism, she has worked for over twenty five years with some of the most significant arts organisations and contemporary performance makers in Ireland. Alongside her own creative practice, her collaborative work in the performing arts, and her work supporting others through facilitation, she is perhaps best known as Campaign Director of #WakingTheFeminists.
