Introducing RecycleGarb Hub!

Hello Everyone and welcome to the third and final episode of Season 1 of Project Rere! Today we share the story of RecycleGarb Hub. RecycleGarb operates a waste recycling scheme that motivates and benefits mostly grass root communities and informal waste pickers. They are a social enterprise whose mission is to create income and development opportunities, for individuals and communities, by tackling: poverty, hunger, menstrual poverty, and access to education, through waste recovery and recycling across Nigeria and Africa.

Introducing AgroData!

Welcome to the second episode of Project Rere everyone! Today we dive into the journey of AgroData and some of the tiniest farmers in the world! AgroData deploys a bee-centred cropping model using honey bees as pollinators for fruits and vegetable farming. They enlist smallholder crop farmers into a Community Bee AgriFood Network (CoBAN) and installs beehives (for free) on their farmlands in a partnership deal. AgroData provides an efficient alternative farming system, which combats low yield in smallholder croplands, reduces the dependence on inorganic fertilizers, improve farm productivity and rural livelihood.

Hi Everyone and welcome to our first episode of Project Rere! Today we are sharing the story of PETsPoint Recycling. PETsPoint is an integrated clean tech value chain social enterprise based out of Ibadan, Nigeria. Their mission is to coordinate the redirection of waste products, particularly plastic wastes, through proper channels by: recycling, innovating, and recreating for economic value through citizens’ engagement.

Introducing Project Rere!

Hello! It's nice to finally meet you all and we can't wait for you to get to know Project Rere. Project Rere came to life in 2020 when 5 individuals were looking for more ways to have an impact in the world. The various lockdowns led to conversations and those conversations led to ideas, and that led to Project Rere! It's taken a little while, but we're here! We're ready to introduce Season 1 of Project Rere to the world.
