Joining us this week is esteemed guest, Slawomir Jack Giletycz, PhD from the Department of the Earth Sciences, National Central University where his research focus was in tectonic geomorphology, fluvial processes and structural geology.  Dr. Giletycz is a naturalist who has a love for the rocks and nature. He has been in Taiwan since 2004 and has learnt Chinese extensively. He completed his Master’s in Wildlife Conservation at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology and undergraduate in International Studies at Adelphi University. In this episode we learn more of how Scott’s Huayu Scholarship turnt into a 10 year experience. Scott’s master’s research focused in the studies pangolins and working with aboriginal villages on how they would do conservation work.
