Encourage Yourself
This episode will be of encouragement to you. Sometimes we can get into places in our lives where everything feels unchanging, overwhelming, and much more. This episode is to encourage you to continue to hold on. If all you can do is stand, do just that. Just don’t give up no matter how heavy life gets.
Minimal Effort, Maximum Excuses
Somewhere along the way, “low maintenance friend” became code for emotional absence. And I want to talk about it. In this episode, I unpack the double standard of effort how people can be deeply intentional in romantic relationships but suddenly hands-off with friendships. If inconsistency in dating is breadcrumbing, why do we excuse it in platonic spaces? Then we move into something deeper: hopelessness, chronic complaining, and how easy it is to get stuck there. I share why gratitude isn’t toxic positivity, but a practice that literally shifts perspective. Inspired by The Four Agreements, we focus on being impeccable with your words and doing your best, especially when life feels heavy. This conversation is about accountability, grace, and choosing language that builds instead of breaks. This is a reminder to speak life, show up, and stop calling neglect a personality trait.
The Cost of Comfort
This episode is for anybody who feels stuck but tells themselves they are “waiting on the right time.” Some of us aren’t stuck, we’re just idolizing comfort. We keep walking around the same mountain, hoping life changes on its own, while avoiding making the necessary decisions because it’s hard. The choices we keep postponing, the people who mean well but talk us out of growth, and the lies we tell ourselves to stay where it’s safe. Nothing changes unless you do.
Too Nice Too Tired
Hey y’all, in this episode, we’re talking about people pleasing, and the way so many of us tie our identity to our titles such as relationships, careers, and even parenthood. We will be discussing how chasing approval can slowly erase who it is that we are to our core and how our status and roles can turn into judgment and what happens when a role you built your life around suddenly vanishes. This is a conversation about unlearning performance, choosing honesty, and remembering who you are when no one needs anything from you, let’s get into it.
