Episode 41 - Ishtar

This sci-fi comedy, serving as a meta-commentary on the value of nerd culture, has had a cult following since it's release and the girls spend this conversation talking about how that commentary has aged, in addition to, y'know, all the good jokes. Episode 39 - Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein

I never considered what would come after podcasting. This episode, Bridget decided to play God by having the rest of the girls watch Guillermo del Toro's recent Frankenstein adaptation. Although divisive in it's execution, it's impossible to deny the artistry and passion on display over the film's runtime. Just don't make me think; post it! It was only a matter of time before Jae picked an absolutely miserable movie to subject the rest of the girls too, but she's not alone in finding reverie in Ari Aster's Eddington, as the crew is willfully joined by Friends From The Internet's Zoe! Is it an irresponsible piece of cinema? Does it try to do "both-sides"-ism? Is it just another meditation on the struggle of cishet white men?
